Angela M. Hernandez serves as Vice President of the Centralia Elementary School District Governing Board, representing Area 3. A dedicated community leader, business owner, and advocate for children and families, she brings years of experience supporting public education through Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) and volunteer service across a variety of community organizations. Trustee Hernandez is committed to fostering academic excellence through visionary leadership, innovation, collaboration, and strong community partnerships. Her areas of focus include inclusive education, student well-being, responsible digital citizenship, safe and welcoming school environments, rigorous academic programs, and meaningful family engagement. She believes that effective governance begins with listening to diverse perspectives and working collaboratively to make thoughtful decisions that serve the best interests of all students. Trustee Hernandez is passionate about helping create educational environments where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
